Crisp Cam Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

The short version

Crisp Cam collects no data. All recording and analysis happens entirely on your iPhone. Nothing you record — video, audio, photos, or any information derived from them — is ever sent off your device. The app contains no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking, and it makes no network connections.

Camera and microphone

Crisp Cam uses the camera to record a short clip and the microphone to include sound in the video saved alongside your chosen photo. Recordings are processed on your device and saved only to your own photo library. They are never uploaded or shared with anyone, including us.

Face data

To choose the best frame, Crisp Cam analyzes faces in your clip on your iPhone — for example whether eyes are open and how natural an expression looks. This analysis is transient: face data is used only in the moment, on the device, to rank frames. It is never stored, never transmitted anywhere, and never shared with anyone. The app cannot identify who is in a photo and does not use face data for authentication or any other purpose.

Photo library

With your permission, Crisp Cam saves your chosen photo and video to your photo library, and can maintain a Crisp Cam album. If you import a clip, you pick it yourself through the system photo picker; the app never browses your library.

Data collection and sharing

We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information. There are no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. Because no data is collected, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete — everything the app produces lives solely in your own photo library, under your control.

Children

Crisp Cam does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date above.
